AdSense Payment Methods for Google Publishers

Are you a Google AdSense publisher? Do you have AdSense ads running on your website or on your YouTube channel? If yes, then you may be wondering what AdSense payment methods are available for you to use. How are you going to receive your earnings? In this article, I am going to show you all the options that you have in terms of getting paid by AdSense. AdSense recently made changes to it’s payment methods, so this article is very relevant.

Google AdSense Payment Methods

The following are the available Google AdSense payment methods;

  • Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs)
  • Wire Transfers
  • EFT via Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA)
  • Checks
  • Rapida

Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT)

This is the first payment method for Google AdSense. With this method, your funds are deposited directly as local into your bank account in your home country. EFTs are probably the fastest method of receiving money from AdSense. However, they are not available in all locations. If you choose this method, you can expect your payment within 7 business days.

Wire Transfers

Wire transfers are forms of EFTs. If you choose this method for your AdSense payments, money will be deposited into your bank account. The difference with EFTs is that money is not send as your local currency, but in either Euros or United States dollars. This is the method that we use for our AdSense payments.

Money is deposited into our account as U.S. dollars and we collect it as such. Of course, that’s because our country allows that. In some countries, you may have to liquidate the money into the local currency before you can collect it. To get money from AdSense via Wire Transfer, you need to provide the following,

  • Account holder name
  • Bank name
  • SWIFT-BIC
  • Account number
  • Retype the account number
  • Intermediary bank details (optional)

SEPA

If you are in Europe, then this is the method that you should use for your Google AdSense payment. SEPA stands for Single Euro Payments Area. It’s another form of Electronic Funds Transfer. With this method, you get your earnings in Euros from AdSense. The major advantage of getting your money from AdSense this way is that it’s fast. To sign up for SEPA, you need to do the following;

  • Provide your bank details
  • Do a test deposit

Checks

If you wish, you can also receive your payments from AdSense via checks. However, note that Google has been doing away with these. If your country supports EFTs, then Google does not allow you to choose the checks option. So, there are probably only a handful of countries in which this AdSense payment method is available. AdSense checks are issued by Citibank.

Rapida

This is the last available AdSense payment method. This option is only available for people in Russia. So, if you are in any other country, you will not be able to use this method. If you are in Russia, you are required to first sing on on the Rapida site. From there, you will then have to submit your Rapida details to AdSense.

Which AdSense Payment Method should I use?

Most people wonder which of the AdSense payment methods they should opt for. The thing to note is; not all of the above payment methods will be available in all countries. This is something that you may already have noticed. In fact, most countries will only have one payment method available. So, you will have no option but to use that one.

That is what happens to us. In the country that we are in, there is only Wire Transfers as the available payment method for AdSense. So, this is the option that we have to go with. The good news is that AdSense is pretty consistent in terms of payment. If you have enough money in your account (above the threshold), they will send it to you on a regular schedule. If you do not meet the threshold, or if you meet it after the payment dates, you will have to wait for the next cycle. The key is to be patient. AdSense cannot be pushed. They will give you your money in their own sweet time.

When will I get paid?

The above are the Google AdSense payment methods. Choose the one that works the best for you. For us, that’s Wire Transfers. Most people worry about receiving their money from AdSense. Thing is, with AdSense, and any of the other website monetization programs that are out there, you need to be patient. You can read our article on the AdSense payment date to find out more.

How to increase your AdSense earnings

This is something that we like to talk about as part of the conclusions for all our AdSense articles. As a publisher, you are probably seized with trying to increase your revenue. The whole thing probably gives you nightmares. You lie awake at night trying to decode AdSense. What is it that you can do to boost your revenue?

Well, the trick to AdSense is, first and foremost, traffic. You need lot’s of it to be able to generate any meaningful revenue. But what’s lots of traffic? Think in the thousands. Or even in the tens of thousands! Per day! If you can do this, then you will good to go. You wont have to worry about AdSense payment methods because whenever and however your money comes, it will be more than enough.

You can also boost your AdSense revenue by simply playing around with your site. This is something that we are very experienced with. Most people are not aware that where they place their Ads matters. If you place them in such a way that they don’t get seen, then you wont get clicks. And without clicks, you will earn very little from AdSense. So, play around with your placement.

Finally, you need to go for high value keywords. This also corresponds with location. You may get a thousand visitors in Botswana or in Zimbabwe, but you will hardly earn much from AdSense. But if you get just a thousand visitors in the United States per day, you will probably earn around $10 per day! So, traffic is important but it’s crucial to get valuable traffic.
