ZIMSEC recently announced that “O” Level results will now be available online. This is good news for those that sat for their exams in November. If you are one of these candidates, you can easily check your ZIMSEC results online by taking the following simple steps;
- Go the ZIMSEC results website.
- You need to first create an account before getting your “O” Level ZIMSEC results for the year.
- Click on Register as a new user to create an account.
- Once you have successfully registered you will then be able to log into your account.
- Click on Candidate Results to check your ZIMSEC “O” Level Results .
What problems can you encounter while checking ZIMSEC “O” Level Results
You are likely to encounter a few problems while registering your account. These are the issues that we encountered while registering our ZIMSEC account;
- Make sure you enter the correct details as they appear on the ZIMSEC slip
- Make sure you have selected “November” to get November ZIMSEC “O” Level results
- Your password needs to have at least one letter in CAPS
- Your password also needs to be have a symbol, such as -,_,@,%
Checking your ZIMSEC “A” Level Results online
The above portal can be used to also check ZIMSEC “A” Level results . The steps that you need to take to do this are the same. Anyway, once you have registered, and have logged in, click on “Candidate Results,” to view you ZIMSEC “O” and “A” Level results for the year .

A Welcome Development
The fact that ZIMSEC “O” and “A” level results for the year are now available online is a very welcome development. What it means is that candidates will now be able to quickly check how they did over the internet. It will, however, mean that candidates who have failed to get anything will no longer be motivated to go to schools to collect their slips.
Schools will most likely view this as a negative because they were in the habit of withholding results until all fees and other arrears were paid.
