  1. Connect your computer to the Singtel WiFi network whose password you wish to change.
  2. Your first task is to find the default I.P address for your WiFi mesh. It’s usually 192.160.1.1 . If that does not work, read these tips on how to find you router’s I.P address.
  3. Once you have your router I.P, type it into the address bar of your browser and press enter.
  4. Log into your router’s admin dashboard using the default username and password.
  5. The default username for an Askey AP5100W WiFi mesh is admin.
  6. The default password is also admin.
  7. Once you have logged in, click on 2.4GHz.
  8. Next, click on Security.
  9. Now go to the Pre-Shared Key (Password) section. Type in your new Singtel WiFi password.
  10. You will notice that your Askey AP5100W WiFi mesh operates on 2 WiFi bands. Read about dual band WiFi here. Changes that you make to the 2.4GHz section also apply to the 5GHz band.
  11. Save your changes.
  12. Reconnect your devices to your WiFi network using the new password.

Singtel WiFi Password Change on AirTies 4930 Router

If you have the AirTies 4930 router in your home or office, the following is how to do a Singtel WiFi password change;

  1. Connect your computer to the AirTies router’s WiFi.

  4. You don’t have to log into this router.
  5. Click on Quick Setup.
  6. Finally, go to the Password/Pre-shared key section to change your Singtel WiFi password.

Many Singtel customers have Singtel Mesh Routers, Singtel Ac Plus routers and Singtel Elite routers in their homes and offices. To change the WiFi password on a Singtel router, you need to take the following steps;

  1. Connect your computer to your Singtel WiFi network.
  2. Open a browser and type in 192.168.1.254 and press enter.
  3. You may be required to log in using the default username and password.
  4. The default username is usually admin.
  5. Find the default password on a sticker under your router.
  6. Next, you need to click on the tab showing all your connected devices.
  7. Click on Mesh Controller.
  8. Write down the I.P address for the Mesh Controller.
  9. Now, open a new tab on your browser and type in this I.P address for Mesh Controller.
  10. Press enter.
  11. Now click on General.
  12. Next, click on Wireless.
  13. Login using the password and username that’s on your device.
  14. Go to 2.4GHz Network Key and change your WiFi password. These routers have dual band WiFi. The same password can be used on both bands.
  15. Save your changes when done.
  16. Reconnect your devices using your new Singtel WiFi password.

Singtel WiFi Password Change on a Aztech DSL7009GR(AC) Router

To change your Singtel WiFi password on an Aztech DSL7009GR(AC) router, you need to take the following steps;

  1. Connect your computer to your Singtel WiFi network.
  2. Open a browser and type 192.168.1.254 into the address bar.
  3. Press enter when done.
  4. Hover your cursor over Quick Setup and click on Wireless.
  5. Your router has 2 WiFi bands. By default, settings for the 2.4GHz band appear.

  • Next, you need to have the default username.
  • Finally, you need to have the default password for your router or WiFi Mesh.

Where do I get this information?

With this information, you should be able to log into your router’s admin page to do a Singtel WiFi password change. It’s not that complicated.   4. Login using the default username and password.
  5. If you have the Huawei HG8244H Optical Network Router (ONR), the default username is root and the default password is admin.
  6. If you have the Huawei HG8240T5 Optical Network Router (ONR), the username is root. The password can be found on the bottom on the device.
  7. You will now need to click on the icon for LAN Devices (see above). This can be found in the Home Page tab.
  8. Look for your router or WiFi mesh and find it’s I.P address.
  9. Go back to the instructions at the top relating to your particular mesh or router to continue with the process of changing your Singtel WiFi password.

Use Command Prompt to Find your Mesh I.P

You can also use Command Prompt on your computer to find the default I.P for any router. You simply need to take the following steps;

  • Connect your computer to your Singtel WiFi.
  • Next, open Command Prompt.
  • You can do this by searching for cmd in Windows search bar and then clicking on the Command Prompt icon.
  • In Command Prompt, type in ipconfig and press enter.
  • Now, scroll down to Default Gateway, where you will see the default I.P for your Singtel router.
  • Type that into your browser’s address bar and press enter.
  • Now you will need to log in using the default username and password that are printed on your router.

Reset your router if you have forgotten your admin password
