How to use Picture-in-Picture for DSTV
There at times when you may wish to watch your favorite DSTV show while working on your laptop or desktop. Television can be addictive right? That’s particularly the case if you are a news-bug. One moment missed can appear like a moment too late. The good news is that there is a way through which you can keep your DSTV shows visible on your computer while doing something else entirely different. The trick is what is referred to as picture-in-picture. But what is picture-in-picture and how can you use it to watch DSTV Now shows on top of the screen while working on your computer?
What’s picture-in-picture
Picture-in-picture is basically a system that allows you to keep a window visible on top of other windows on your computer. The effect is that you will have a small popup video on top of everything else on your computer, allowing your to continue doing your work. How to keep DSTV shows playing on top while working on your computer
To get the picture-in-picture, all that you need to do is the following;
- Sign into DSTV Now.
- Play the show that you wish to watch.
- Press the picture-in-picture button to the bottom right corner of your screen.
- You will now get a small window displaying your DSTV show.
- You can drag the screen to any location on your computer.
Where is the picture-in-picture button located?
The exact location of the picture-in-picture button is slightly different depending on the browser that you are using to access DSTV Now on your computer. You may also notice that the size of the mini screen that you get differs depending on the browser. I like to use Chrome, which gets me a smaller screen than Mozilla. That way, I can work on my computer without getting too much of a distraction and the picture doesn’t block important work on my screen.
