In order to get a Microsoft Office program to automatically start when you turn on your Windows 10 computer, all that you need to do is the following;
- Simultaneously press on the Windows + “R” keys on your keyboard
- Type “shell:startup” (without the quotes) in the “Run” box that opens up
- Click on “OK”
- This opens the Startup Folder
- Next, double click on the “This PC,” icon on your desktop
- Click on “Local Disk (C:)”
- Find and double click on the “Program Files (*86)” folder
- Find and open the “Microsoft Office” folder
- Click on the “Office12” folder
- Find the program that you wish to have automatically run when Windows Starts up. In my case, its “Outlook.”
- Click on the file and drag it into the Startup Folder that we opened earlier.
