Can you Transfer Airtime from MTN to Vodacom?
It’s not possible to transfer airtime from MTN to Vodacom. Airtime can only be shared between people on the same network. There are a number of reasons why that is the case. For one thing, MTN and Vodacom are 2 different networks. They have different pricing structures. They are also always running promotions and other deals.
That makes it rather difficult to determine what is what in terms of the value of airtime to be transferred. To be sure, it would probably not be an impossible task for any 2 networks to work together to make airtime transfers possible. However, that is unlikely to happen any time soon.
What can you do?
Airtime cannot be shared between MTN and Vodacom. So, what can you do? Well, the best option would be to find someone on the same network as your intended recipient who can do the transfer on your behalf. It may also be practical to look at getting those close to you to be on the same network.
