In order to open the context menu, all that you need to do is right click on the start button at the bottom left corner of your screen.

Open Device Manager through Command Prompt (Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10)
Device Manager can also be opened through Command Prompt. Command Prompt is one of the options in the Start button Context Menu, which pretty much makes this something of a roundabout way of opening Device Manager for Windows 10 users.
This option can, however, still be useful in other versions of Windows. Command Prompt can be opened by typing “cmd” (without the quotes) in the Search utility.
Once you have Command Prompt open, all that you need to do in order to open Device Manager is type in “devmgmt.msc” (without the quotes), before pressing “enter” on your keyboard.
Through the Windows “Run” utility (Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10)
It is also possible to open Device Manager in Windows using the “Run” utility. The Run window can be opened by simply pressing on the Windows key + the key “R” on your keyboard. Once you have Run open, type in “devmgmt.msc” without the quotes and you will be taken to Device Manager.
Through the System Information Window (Windows 8, 8.1 and 10)
Device Manager in Windows can also be opened through the System Information panel. In order to get there, all that you need to do is right click on “This PC” on your desktop, before clicking on “Properties.”
The option to open Device Manager is listed on the top left corner of the panel, under “Control Panel Home.”
