If you have forgotten your BT router login password, simply reset the device
The first time that you log into your BT router’s admin section, you will be prompted to change the password. Most people do this. However, quite a few then go on to forget their new BT router login details. It happens even to the best of us. After all, an admin password is not something that you use on a daily basis. So, it’s quite easy to forget.
But what do you do in that case? Well, the good news is that all is not lost. All that you need to do is to reset your BT hub or router to factory defaults. That way, you will be able to log in using the default username and password. So, how do you do a reset on your BT router?
Well, to reset your BT router, you simply need to turn the device around and you will see a reset button somewhere at the back. The button is usually in a recess, so you need something pointy with which to press on it. Keep pressing for at least 10 seconds and your router will be reset. You will now be able to use the default BT router username and password to log in.
