I am having problems with my Econet line which has not been connecting either to USSD or to ECOCASH. The problem started a few days ago. At first, I though it had to do with the problems that ECOCASH has been encountering over the past few days.
I also thought that it was my phone that was giving me issues. However, after transferring the line to another kambudzi phone, I discovered that the problem persisted. No matter what I did, I could not use ECOCASH and USSD.

After encountering this problem with my ECONET line, I decided to get in touch with ECONET through their online chat portal. I talked to someone, but the chat didn't really yield much because the customer care person was slow in replying to my chats.
Anyway, he must have done something or the other because a few hours later, I discovered that ECOCASH was back on my phone. I thought the issue had been resolved once and for all.

Today, however, I discovered that the problem had come back. No matter what I did, I could not get USSD on my Econet line. This turned out to be a severe inconvenience, as I used ECOCASH a lot.
As was the case yesterday, today, I reached out to ECONET via their online chat portal in a bid to get my issues resolved. Today I was able to chat with someone for a while. However, is is unfortunate that they were unable to resolve the problems with my econet line.
The person stated that they had reset the line in order to get it working. I was supposed to then turn off and on my phone and I would be good to go. However, this did not turn out to be the case. Even after removing the battery from my phone, I could never get it to work.
