Get free stock images from these sites
When I started blogging, one of the challenges that I faced related to getting images for my posts. At the beginning, I tried using my phone to take photos of my own, but their quality left a lot to be desire. I also needed images for my ebooks, and these need to be of a particular standard to meet Amazon’s KDP requirements. For the eBooks, the solution proved to be Can Stock Photo, a site that sells high quality images at a relatively affordable price. However, this solution was impractical for the blog posts. So, what’s best sites for royalty free stock images that you can use on your blog?
Buying images is not practical for blogging
Purchasing images is, as already noted at the top, not really a solution when it came blogging. For one thing, I write at least one article every single day, meaning I would have to make substantial purchases at the end of the month. For a blog that was yet to make a single cent, this route appeared to be rather impractical.
Best sites for free stock photos
The fortunate thing is that I was able to come across 2 sites that offer free stock images that come with unrestricted access. This has enabled me to get as many images as I want, without even having to sign up or anything.
Pexels
Pexels was the first site that I came across that offers free, unrestricted images. The great thing is that these images are of the highest quality and you can use them for anything. I mean, you can use the images that you get from Pexels as ebook covers, on your blog, on your t-shirts and anywhere else.
Pixabay
Pixabay is the second site that I came across that offers completely free images. This site is my current favorite, for the simple reason that it appears to have a slightly more diverse range of images than Pexels. Pixabay has 1.5 million royalty free images and videos, making it more than likely that you will be able to find whatever it is that you are looking for on the site.
